Liz PooleyCambridge Forest is a beautiful neighborhood of almost 200 homes, located in Gainesville’s prime southwest residential corridor, across  the street from Haile Plantation, and within a 15 minute drive of both the University of Florida and Haile Plantation.

The site of several  spring parade of homes showcase tours, most of the homes were built between 2000 and 2005 by longtime Gainesville builder G.W. Robinson. The homes feature open, contemporary interiors, a variety of architectural styles, and are situated on well manicured, half-acre  to acre-plus lots.

The neighborhood has an open, almost idyllic feel; there is a large central walking park, miles of lighted walking paths, a children’s park, several clear ponds and preserved open spaces. The homes  range in price from about $300,000 to $600,000, and have held their resale value quite well.
