This is where I grew up. Built beginning in the 1960’s and continuing well into the 1980’s by Gainesville’s premier builders of the day, many of the approximately 175 homes here abut not only the beautiful championship golf course, but also front Payne’s Prairie, a spectacular 20,000 acre  preserve of freshwater marshes, wild horses and sandhill cranes.

Traditional and neo-colonial styles predominate , although there are a few homes built in the contemporary style. Many of the homes have been lovingly and professionally renovated. Prices range from just over$200,000 to over $500,000.

Located just west of I-75 off of Williston Road, the neighborhood is within an easy ten minute drive of Shands, the University of Florida, and downtown Gainesville.
