Mentone is a delightful Southwest neighborhood of about 350 homes that were built during the late nineties up until about 2005 by local Gainesville builder Atlantic Design.

The subdivision is well planned, and offers a lot of amenities for young families. There is a very nice pavilion and pool area, a children’s playground, walking trails and a large playfield. Homes here range in size from 1400 square feet up to about 2800 square feet, and are priced from 200,000 to $350,000. The homes feature larger than average yards, and most are completely fenced.

Located very close to the I-75 exchange and within about a 10 minute drive to Shands teaching hospital, the area is popular with residents and medical professionals.
